Remember you put a comma before and after the extra information.
For example:-
The boy kicked the football. This is a sentence but we then add extra information about the boy.
The boy, who was called John, kicked the football.

3) Try and picture the problem mentally(or draw if it helps)
4) Decide on the numeric operator(s) required. Is it a one-step or multi-step
problem ?
5) Calculate
6) Estimate to check your answer is reasonable
